IT support, UniFi networking, Astro websites, venue AV, van power planning and the awkward jobs that cross all of those categories. Based on the Isle of Man. No scripts, no unnecessary replacement, no overcomplication.
Most technical problems do not fit neatly into one category. I work across IT, networking, websites, AV and power systems -- and I am most useful when the problem crosses between them.

I look at the whole system before recommending anything.
I work best with people who need practical technical help rather than jargon. You might know exactly what you need, or you might only know that something keeps going wrong. Either is fine.
Some of the systems and equipment I regularly work around include the following. This is practical experience in real environments, not a claim of official partnership with every brand listed.
I check access point placement, channel planning, interference, roaming, VLANs, bandwidth limits and backhaul so the network is more reliable when people actually use it.
I improve structure, copy, calls to action, local SEO, loading speed, contact forms and trust signals so the site does a useful job.
I review speaker placement, gain structure, DSP routing, crossover points, limiter settings and coverage so the system works with the room.
I help plan safe phased upgrades for lithium batteries, solar, inverters, DC-DC charging, monitoring and practical protection.
I can trace, document and simplify messy setups so future changes are easier and less risky.
I can set up practical AI workflows for documentation, support replies, process notes and internal admin with sensible data-safety boundaries.
You do not always need to rip everything out and start again. A lot of systems can be improved in stages: fix the worst problem first, stabilise the basics, then plan sensible upgrades when budget allows. This approach works well for Isle of Man businesses, venues and campervan power planning.
Poor handover is one of the most common reasons a technical problem comes back. Where it matters, I write simple notes so the next person -- or you -- is not starting from scratch.
Real work on real systems. Written honestly, without invented numbers or overclaiming.

Read case studyThat is fine. Most jobs do not arrive with a label. Describe what is happening -- what system, what the fault looks like, and how often -- and I will tell you what I think is going on and what the most sensible next step is.
